This page covers common admission-related doubts for MCA applicants.
What should I write in the graduation subject combination?
Write some of the papers/courses you studied in graduation, and also list any minor or pass course.
Do not include special characters.
I do not have the latest OBC-NCL or EWS certificate. What should I do?
Upload the latest available certificate you currently have, and apply for a new one immediately.
Keep the updated certificate ready, because it will be required during document verification.
What is the fee to be paid at the time of admission?
For the 2026-2027 session, the official fee is not yet published. It will likely follow the previous session pattern:

Based on previous admissions:
- 19493 paid at the online admission portal (includes admission charges).
- 6500 for hostel admission (5825 for SC/ST), including a refundable deposit of Rs 5000 to be paid on document verification day.
- Hostel mess fee is separate and usually around 2200-2800, depending on the allotted hostel.
Note: Some students were not allotted hostel seats during our admission cycle.
Is there any fee reduction for SC/ST or OBC-NCL?
No. Other than the slight deduction in hostel admission charges, there is no additional fee reduction.
I made a mistake while creating the anti-ragging document. Can I remake it?
Yes. You can remake it as long as you do not upload the incorrect one on the portal and do not submit the final admission application with the wrong file.
If you have already submitted, a correction window is usually opened. Keep the corrected anti-ragging document ready.
I made a mistake in the application form. Can I correct it now?
If you have not submitted the final application yet, you should still be able to edit and correct it.
Is there any fee waiver scheme for BPL students?
Yes. You can apply after the 1st semester.
The number of free studentships is limited to one student per program per batch, and selection is merit-based. In subsequent semesters, the awardee should be within the top 60 percent of their class based on CGPA.
